ConvertPro: Website Help Guide

1. Homepage & Main Navigation

  • Use the navigation links or dashboards to switch between tools: Currency Exchange, Unit Converter, Digital Tools, Time Zone, File Converter, Cooking & Sizes, and more.

2. Digital Tools

  • QR Code Generator: Enter text/URL, select size and error correction, pick colors, and generate or download the QR code.
  • Color Converter: Enter RGB or Hex values to convert colors instantly both ways.
  • Gradient Generator: Set start/end colors and an angle, preview, and copy CSS for custom gradients.
  • Text Transformer: Paste/type text then select transformations (UPPERCASE, camelCase, reverse, sort lines, remove duplicates). Stats for character, word, line, paragraph counts update live.
  • Number System Converter: Enter a value and base type (Decimal, Binary, Octal, Hex) to see all other systems instantly.
  • Encoders/Decoders:
    • Base64 Encode/Decode allows quick cryptographic conversion in both directions.
    • URL Encode/Decode for web links; escape or translate text in a URL-safe form.

3. Currency Converter

  • Select source and target currencies from dropdowns, enter the amount, and get real-time converted value using live exchange rates.
  • Explore different currency categories: major, cryptocurrency, precious metals, exotics.
  • Historical charts and copy features available for a quick overview or record keeping.
  • Note: Minor display error—sometimes results don't reflect the correct decimal places or value precisely.

4. Unit Converter

  • Convert between length, weight, temperature, area, volume, speed, and more with instant visual comparisons and reference examples.
  • Critical Note: As of now, only Length converter is accessible. Other category tabs (Weight, Temperature, etc.) do not function.

5. File Converter

  • PDF to Images: Upload a PDF, select format (PNG/JPG), and quality, then download as ZIP.
  • PDF to Text: Upload a PDF and download all text as .txt.
  • Images to PDF: Upload multiple images, set paper size, and save as multi-page PDF.
  • Image Converter: Convert image files between PNG, JPG, and WebP; batch ZIP download.
  • Merge PDFs: Combine several PDFs into a single file—fully private, no uploads to server.

6. Time Zone Converter

  • View live world clocks for major cities right on the dashboard.
  • Use the Meeting Planner to find the best overlap for up to three cities. Choose cities, set time, and display corresponding times elsewhere.
  • Lookup and convert time zone abbreviations (e.g., IST, PST, UTC) instantly.

7. Cooking & Sizes

  • Recipe Scaler: Enter servings to scale ingredient amounts proportionally. Add/edit ingredients and see instantly recalculated results.
  • Get handy tips on adjusting spices, baking times, and ingredient scaling for best results.
  • Convert clothing, shoe, and other size units using interactive selectors.
Use the “Copy” button beside results to quickly use processed information elsewhere.

8. Security & Text Tools

  • Generate passwords with full control on length and character set.
  • Hash text using MD5, SHA1, SHA256, and SHA512.
  • Check password strength.
  • Complex text tools: snake_case/kebab-case, slug generation, text difference, and advanced statistics.

Known Issues / Troubleshooting

  • Unit Converter category switching is broken. Only Length is currently available.
  • Currency decimal place display/error. Results may sometimes seem imprecise.
  • All other tools confirmed to function correctly as of October 8, 2025.
  • For file upload/download or rendering errors, clear browser cache and refresh.
  • Works best in latest Chrome, Edge, Firefox; ensure JavaScript is enabled.
